Homeless Drop-in

The PVN Homeless Drop-In Centre was established in 2014 on the ground floor of the church premises and it was a natural progression from the street outreach to the homeless that the church had run since 2012.

Based in Amelia Street, the centre is in the heart of Belfast and therefore accessible to those most in need. Open on a Wednesday and Thursday evening, the Drop-In regularly serves 40-60 service users on average each evening.

Our dedicated volunteer staff, under the leadership of the Drop-In Supervisor, Liz Rocks, are on hand to offer advice, support and company to those who are living on the streets.

The Drop-In enjoys the support of several local businesses and groups who donate food, items and offer their services to the service users free of charge and we are very grateful for their support.

Activities include:

  • Pool table
  • Table Tennis
  • Bingo
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Hairdressing
  • Mini beauty treatments such as nail painting, pedicures
  • Seasonal dinner parties
  • Life skills courses
