We are a community of believers from diverse backgrounds, passionate about Christ and people - each member with a unique testimony of what God has done in their life.

We believe that as a church, we exist to create spaces for lives to be transformed and for people to be change agents in their individual spheres of influence.

who we are

We are committed to seeing progressive change in our communities and rely on the love of Christ to add value to the lives of individuals, families, neighbourhoods and ultimately the world.

We are a dynamic, friendly family of believers who desire to be more like Jesus every day. We deeply cherish the manifest presence of God and dedicate ourselves to being witnesses of His love, joy and power. We value the growth and empowerment which we experience as we serve God and His people and are passionate about partnering with God as He works out His plans and purposes for us, our families, communities, nation, and world.

We are so glad that you are here and we invite you to join the PVN family. We welcome you with open arms and hearts!

our origin

Place of Victory for all Nations Belfast (PVN Belfast) is part of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) - a worldwide mission  established in 1952. RCCG's mission is to take the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to all the nations of the world.

PVN Belfast was established in 2006 by Pastor Felix Makanjulola - who now is the lead pastor of Place of Victory, London. In 2007, Pastor Chris and Angela Ifonlaja were entrusted with PVN Belfast to be shepherds of the flock.

our beliefs - pvn belfast

The Bible is God's word to all people. We believe that the entire scripture was written by human authors though the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Because the Bible is God-breathed, it contains no errors and contains all the guidance and reassurace we need to live fufilling lives. The bible is the written and revealed Will of God

We believe there is one God who is the creator and ruler of the universe. God exists as one but in three persons - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. For example, an egg is comprised of three parts: the yolk, the albumen (the whitish part) and the shell. Despite these three substances, the egg is not three but one. Likewise, we believe the Trinity is composed of three persons but are ONE - each member serves different functions, but they each possess equal power and authority.

God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises. As revealed unto us by the Bible, we believe that there is only one God, Who is the Creator of both visible and invisible creatures.

Jesus Christ on earth was completely human but at the same time completely God. He is the only plan for bringing people who are far from God back into a right relationship with God. He lived a perfect life, so that He could be a substitution for us in satisfying God’s demands for perfection. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have life.

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. The Holy Spirit’s presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides believers into all truth and exalts Christ. He convicts people of their sin, God’s righteousness, and the coming judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

We are made in the image of God and are the supreme object of His creation. Man was created to have fellowship with God but became separated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man cannot attain a right relationship with God through his own effort. Every human personality is uniquely created, possesses dignity, and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Salvation is initiated by God and is a free gift to all who personally accept it. The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.
